Michael helped my daughter with the college essay process, to find her topic and develop her voice.  He went above and beyond, even finding a Chinese translator for a document she referenced. Not only was her essay the only one printed in her high school's literary magazine, she received a large merit award from her first choice college.  Thank you, Michael!

Michael was my tutor for about 6 months. He prepared me for study at Columbia University and helped me to be successful on the very challenging English exam for international students. We had repeated basic grammar rules and academic essay structure. Overall, Michael is a great instructor and easy to work with.

My brother is attending a boarding school in US, however, being as an international student he has no waiver for TOEFL and SAT. Michael did a great job! He is very experienced in identifying your weak sides and immediately starts working on the results to be achieved. In two and a half months my brother's score improved (from 67 to 103!) and he did great on SAT too. Recently he received admission letters from one of the best undergrad schools.

Michael has a special talent for tutoring. He truly understands his students and his empathy translates into an effective teaching style that not only instructs but motivates the students. My son has a strong inclination towards math and sciences and was less confident in English, especially composition.
